The Trading Post

Our wonderful painter, Pat, had a surprise for the boys the other day. A freshly painted sign marking their fort as a "Tradn' Post." We are so blessed by all the sub-contractors. They are a joy to work with.

We are trying some fun colors in the house. Orange for the school room, yellow/tan color for most of the house, and a neat silver mist for the guest bath. Have decided the orange was a bit too orange so it's been toned down, and it's much better.

Friends & Puppies visiting our home

Easter with friends

We had three other families join us for an Easter Egg hunt on our property. What fun trying to find 129 eggs in amongst the leaves and trees. We tried to stay out of the poison oak, but no such luck. There are still 10 eggs out there somewhere waiting. The neighbor dog even found a plastic egg, popped it open and enjoyed unwrapping the chocolate and chowing down.
