Our dear friend, Alta Austin, asked if she could organize a work bee to help clean up our land for fire safety. We were so blessed by all the help from family and friends which totaled 41 helpers and a baby. Even the kids were all working together. I had goose bumps on my arms that day watching so much happen so quickly with so many helpful hands working together. Thank you one and all. We are forever grateful.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

Brent's Wood Shed
We are thrilled to have some of my brother Brent's handywork on our property. He was able to use reclaimed timbers from the Spalding Mill which is being torn down in Grants Pass and create the most amazing wood shed. We're not sure anyone has ever had such a detailed set of plans drawn by an architect for a wood shed or if they've ever built such a sturdy wood shed before. What a piece of art. We can't wait to start stacking the wood, and boy do we have tons of wood. Thanks Brent!!!!!!!

Just good ol' fun working with family and friends
Just good ol' fun working with family and friends. We even made our own stepping stones with the left over concrete from the wood shed foundation. The leaf patterns were made using real leaves from our property.
